Within the scope of European Union’s Horizon2020 Program and in relation to the SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund 2 program where TÜBİTAK is also a partner of, we have initiated a Research & Development project with the Spanish SCADA company ISOTROL and the FOSS Research Group from Southern Cyprus University that will last for 2 years.

An advanced and automated cloud based, smart system that uses data analysis for designating and classifying errors and problems in the field within the planning of Operation and Maintenance in Solar Power Plants is the goal in this project. This system will be a part of a cloud platform that collects data from sensor and information systems such as SCADA and Internet of Things and facilitates decision making for Q&M processes, and will enable preliminary damage assessment through machine learning algorithms and other artificial intelligence techniques.
